Client Testimonials

“Carlette advised me on an EDI issue within my higher education institution. She provided me with actionable tasks and listened throughly to my concerns. Well versed in the language and with tools for self-advocacy, I felt very supported and confident in the suggestions. I highly recommend her expertise.” ~ Marlo

“I’ve worked with Carlette on several projects. She is a very professional person with great integrity for whatever project she gets involved with. I highly recommend her services.” ~ Dave

Carlette has a unique ability to tackle challenging conversations in a way that still makes participants feel safe. She offered the tailored, in-depth expertise we were looking for. She had just the right energy and sensitivity required to address difficult subject matter with equally our White and ethnic minority participants. We felt like a lot of ground was covered in the short time we had, but she also gave everyone the space to think, share and be heard. I would recommend her to anyone looking for impactful training done with integrity and lived experience – particularly those wanting to go beyond ‘light-touch’ discussions of race inequalities in HE.” ~ Neelam Wright, University of Surrey, UK

“Thank you so much for a genuinely useful workshop today. I feel much better prepared for the work we are doing in anti racism and decolonisation. You set out the arguments in a very logical and accessible way. I was worried I might feel defensive and patronised but not at all. Your warmth made it easier to be honest and self-reflect. Lots of work to do both in terms of self and practice – challenging times ahead but the way you delivered the course content and introduced the topic felt supportive.”
